PADERNO NON-STICK BAVAROIS MOULD Ingredients:
1. 1/2 cup granulated sugar
2. 1/4 cup cornstarch
3. 1/4 teaspoon salt
4. 3 cups whole milk
5. 4 ounces bittersweet chocolate, finely chopped
6. 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Instructions:
1. In a medium saucepan, whisk together the sugar, cornstarch, and salt until well combined.
2. Gradually whisk in the milk until the mixture is smooth and free of lumps.
3. Cook the mixture over medium heat, stirring constantly, until it begins to thicken and comes to a simmer.
4. Reduce the heat to low and continue to cook, stirring constantly, for an additional 2-3 minutes, or until the pudding has thickened enough to coat the back of a spoon.
5. Remove the pan from the heat and stir in the chopped chocolate and vanilla extract until the chocolate has melted and the mixture is smooth.
6. Pour the pudding into Paderno Non-Stick Bavarois Mould.
7. Cover the pudding with plastic wrap, making sure the wrap is touching the surface of the pudding to prevent a skin from forming.
8. Chill the pudding in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, or until it is completely chilled and set.
9. Serve the chocolate pudding topped with whipped cream or fresh berries, if desired.
