Take the Sting Out of Overindulging

January 01, 2015

On the last day of Christmas, the buffet gave to you: three plates of turkey, two slices of fruitcake, and one bottle of champagne. Does the mere sight of the picture above make you queasy? Overindulging for too long can lead to bloatedness, nausea, and lethargy, so it's important to cleanse your body from the excess carbs and sugar in the system. The video below doesn't advocate an extreme, no brakes-barred weight loss regime; it's a light, healthy meal plan to regain your energy and health back quickly, that uses lots of fibre, protein and green tea.

Suggestions for you
Dust off your teapot, and start simmering your soup in a saucepan. While methods like deep-frying aren't recommended, lightly stir-frying vegetables in a pan can add more flavour to your meal. Don't suffer through your meals. Just because they're healthy doesn't mean they have to be boring!
