Making your own french fries in the comfort of your own home

March 21, 2023

Perfect for both household and professional use, the Alegacy French Fry/Wedge Cutter is a fine addition to every chef's kitchen. Wall or table mounted, this Cutter has a pusher block and cutting frame on a heavy-duty, rust-proof body with a cast iron handle and stainless steel trough.

 Steps on how to use:

  1. Start by washing your potatoes and peeling them (if desired).
  2. Cut off the ends of the potato to create a flat surface.
  3. Place the potato on the cutting platform of the French fry cutter, making sure it is centered and secure.
  4. Choose the blade size you want to use based on the thickness of the fries you want to make.
  5. Push the lever or handle down firmly to force the potato through the blades.
  6. Repeat the process for the remaining potatoes until you have the desired amount of French fries.
  7. Once all the potatoes have been cut, remove any excess potatoes from the blades and discard them.
  8. Rinse the French fries in cold water to remove any excess starch.
  9. Dry the fries using a paper towel or a clean cloth.
  10. Fry the French fries in hot oil until golden brown, and enjoy!
