The pairing with bacon not only enhances the dish's richness but also complements the inherent bitterness of Brussels sprouts, creating a harmonious balance that captures the essence of autumn.

 

Here is a warm recipe for Brussels Sprouts with Bacon!

 

Ingredients:

- 1 lb Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved

- 4 slices of bacon, chopped

- 1 tablespoon olive oil

- Salt and pepper to taste

- Optional: Balsamic glaze for drizzling

 

  1. In a large skillet, cook the chopped bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside, leaving the bacon drippings in the pan.
  2. Add olive oil to the skillet and heat over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the Brussels sprouts to the pan, cut side down. Cook without stirring for 5-7 minutes or until golden brown.
