Food Prep 101

January 09, 2015

Here's some advice to keep that resolution going!
Eating healthily should be a lifestyle, not a challenge. By routinely preparing your food in advance, it's one afternoon spent in exchange for fuss-free weekdays, when all the energy you have is spent on work. Instead of choosing the usual mixed rice at the hawker centre, get creative and mix your own combination of starch, protein and vegetables. Check out the video below for some inspiration, and remember to keep some tupperware around!
Ziploc bags will do fine too if you lack space.

Suggestions for you
If you're carving up all that good lean protein, a sturdy boning knife is essential. So is a colander for fresh fruits, and a casserole pot for more creative and healthy cooking methods.
