Meet the Tropical Pumpkin!

October 09, 2014

Pumpkin spiced lattes, pumpkin pie, pumpkin cake... enough with the pumpkin mania! Not that we disapprove of it,  of course, but we feel it needs a modern little twist. As an alternative, we suggest the watermelon. Not only is it refreshing and perfect for Singapore's weather, but it makes an interesting base to carve on. Check out the video below to make  a healthy and tasty Halloween snack, for kids and adults alike :)

Half the success in carving is attributed to the tools used. You'll need a good grip to get those razor sharp teeth right! Check out the Alegacy Elite Slicer Knife, designed with an ergonomic grip. Don't forget that a good chopping board helps too. If you feel your jack-o'-melon isn't spooky enough, why not add a makeshift candlestick holder to it? Simply place a candle in a glass jar of your choice for instant festive appeal.
