15.4 cm Revolving hardwood barrel with stainless steel ball bearings. Every kitchen needs this wooden rolling pin. The metal ball bearings give this rolling pin weight and "spin." It rolls across surfaces effortlessly. Without rolling pins, it would be pretty hard to get perfect, even cookies every time. Rolled fondant would be incredibly difficult to work with and biscuits would be lopsided. Wooden rolling pins will virtually last a lifetime with very little fuss. The secret is not to leave it too long in water and to dry it completely before storing. Just hand wash it in hot sudsy water immediately after use. Use only a plastic scouring pad if pastry residue is difficult to wash off. Rinse well and dry it completely with a towel. Store it in a drawer or cupboard.
